ReferenceDelivery

Delivery

How Imploy sends deliveries and what happens when one fails.

  • Imploy sends up to 50 events in one delivery, and keeps each body within 64 KB. Larger bursts arrive in several deliveries.
  • The connection must be accepted within 2 seconds, and the response returned within 5 seconds.
  • A 2xx response is a success. Any other status is recorded as an error.
  • Redirects are not followed.
  • Each delivery is attempted once. Imploy records the last delivery time, HTTP status and error code on the webhook, so a failing destination is easy to spot.

Each event has a unique event_id, so you can recognise it in your system. See Payloads.
