Report on the roster

Use these endpoints to feed a dashboard without exporting spreadsheets.

Token permissions: Roster Read for roster metrics. Finance Read for charge metrics.

Roster metrics

GET /shifts/metrics needs from and covers up to 92 days after it. It returns, for shifts starting in the period:

• Counts by status and service, and staff and client hours.
• Completed and cancelled hours, and the cancellation rate.
• Unassigned (open) shifts and overdue shifts that haven't been checked out.
• Overtime, broken shifts, and completed shifts with no billing.
• Unique clients and staff, and average shift length.

Add group_by set to client, staff, service, week or month to split the numbers.

Compliance checks

GET /shifts/warnings returns SCHADS warnings for a list of refs or a from and to range. Run it daily over the coming fortnight to catch short shifts, overtime and rest breaks before they happen.

Ideas

• A weekly open shifts count by service, using unassigned_only on GET /shifts.
• Cancellation rate by client or service with group_by.
• Completed shifts with no billing, as a finance follow up list.
