Troubleshooting
Common errors when connecting an AI assistant to Imploy.
| Message | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid access token | The token is missing or not in the expected format. | Check the token and the Authorization: Bearer header. |
| Invalid or expired access token | An access token is disabled or expired, or a sign-in session's access token has expired. | Check the token's expiry, or reconnect. |
| Access token does not permit AI assistant access | AI assistant access is off for that token. | Turn it on in Integrations > Access tokens. |
| AI assistant connections are turned off for this organisation | The organisation switch for sign-in connections is off. | An owner turns it on in Integrations > AI assistants. |
| This user can no longer use AI assistant access | The user who approved the connection no longer has access. | Reconnect as a user who still has access. |
| Too many requests | The request rate is too high. | Slow down and try again. |
| AI assistant access is disabled | MCP is turned off for the service. | Contact Imploy support. |
If an assistant cannot find a tool, the connection may not have permission for that area. Check the connection's access, then reconnect.
Tool problems come back inside a normal response rather than as a connection error, with a short message explaining what went wrong, for example a validation error or a record that was not found.
